"Many things can be better communicated through music, only then one can feel emotions which are unperceivable through simple words. Each one of us have our own interpretation of the sound or music that enters our ears, and that is the beauty of it- it's imperfections bold out the true emotions."

BRIKKA (Tiberius Stanescu) was born in Bucharest, Romania on December 25th of 1985. At the age of 7 he moved to Montreal, Canada where he started writing rhyming poems, he lived in Canada until his teenage years.

At the age of 15 BRIKKA moved to San Jose, California where he discovered his love for hip-hop. In San Jose, he would often freestyle battle and have rap gatherings with his school friends.

At the age of 18 he moved back to Montreal to continue his studies. While living in Canada, he often made trips to Bucharest where he would publish a few songs every year. In 2006 he released his first videoclip called "Viata e un circ" (Life's a circus) featuring Mr.Boss. Quite successful in Romania, it was pushed to MTVRomania and TVKLumea. And of course a few TV interviews where accomplished on various national stations but most importantly "Verissimo".

In 2007 BRIKKA returned to California and is now continuing his music productions in the USA and Latin America. He is currently working on a project collaboration with Colombian and US hip-hop artists.

2010 will be a year to promote humanitarian action throughout Medellin, Colombia and the world. A few videos are being planned for this and more progress will be available.
